Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2015131296A1] The invention relates to a stand-up wheelchair, comprising a chassis (13) and a stand-up frame (19) articulated to the chassis (13). The stand-up frame (19) comprises a sitting rod (25) and an adjusting rod (27) as essential components. The front ends thereof are articulated to the chassis (13) and can be pivoted about a first joint point (29) and a second joint point (31). The backrest (23) is articulated to the rear ends of the sitting rod (25) and of the adjusting rod (27) at a third and a fourth joint point (35, 37). One of the joint points (29, 31, 35, 37) can be moved in relation to the other joint points and thus can effect a tilt adjustment of the backrest (23), wherein simultaneously the backrest (23) is caused to be in a stand-up position substantially parallel to the sitting surface.
