The drafting mechanism also comprises at least one fiber belt guide device (8, 9, 10), wherein the fiber belt (2) is guided by the fiber belt guide device; the at least one first fiber belt guide device (8) is disposed in front of the drafting mechanism (1) along the advancing direction (LR) of the fiber belt (2); and at least one second fiber belt guide device (9) is disposed behind the drafting mechanism (1) along the advancing direction (LR) of the fiber belt (2). According to the invention, the third fiber belt guide device (10) is disposed between the two roller pairs (3, 4, 5) and/or in front of the first roller pair (3) along the advancing direction (LR) of the fiber belt (2), so that the fiber belt (2) can be guided from the side face.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Streckwerk, zum Verstrecken eines Faserbandes (2), mit zumindest drei in Laufrichtung (LR) des Faserbandes (2) hintereinander angeordneten Walzenpaaren (3, 4, 5), die jeweils zumindest eine Unterwalze (6a-6c) und zumindest eine Oberwalze (7a-7d) umfassen, wobei das Faserband (2) zwischen jeweils einem Walzenpaar (3, 4, 5) hindurchgeführt ist, mit zumindest einer Faserbandführung (8, 9, 10), mittels der das Faserband (2) geführt ist, wobei zumindest eine erste Faserbandführung (8) in Laufrichtung (LR) des Faserbandes (2) vor dem Streckwerk (1) und zumindest eine zweite Faserbandführung (9) in Laufrichtung (LR) des Faserbandes (2) nach dem Streckwerk (1) angeordnet sind. Erfindungsgemäß ist zwischen zwei Walzenpaaren (3, 4, 5) und/oder in Laufrichtung (LR) des Faserbandes (2) vor einem ersten Walzenpaar (3) eine dritte Faserbandführung (10) angeordnet, so dass das Faserband (2) seitlich geführt ist.
