Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2015135005A1] The invention relates to an actuating drive (4) for moving a flap (3) of an item of furniture (1), comprising: at least one actuating arm (5) which is supported so as to be pivotable about an axis of rotation {13} for moving the flap (3), a spring device (8) for application of force to the actuating arm (5), a transmission mechanism (10) for transmitting a force from the spring device (8) onto the actuating arm (5) in the closing direction and, after exceeding a dead centre (T1, T2), for transmitting a force from the spring device {8} onto the actuating arm (5) in the opening direction, an adjusting device (23), by which an actuator (19) of the actuating drive (4) is adjustable in its position in or on a guide (21), wherein the actuating drive (4) has a coupling device (18) which couples the spring device (8), the axis of rotation (13) of the actuating arm (5), and the actuator (19) to one another, wherein by adjustment of the actuator (19) in or on the guide (21) both the location of the dead centre (T1, T2) of the actuating arm (5) and the force of the spring device (8) acting in the opening direction on the actuating arm (5) can be set variably such that, in the event of an increase in the force acting in the opening direction, the pivot angle of the actuating arm (5) at which the dead centre (T1, T2) is located can be reduced.
