[origin: WO2015139944A1] The invention relates to a device (10) for withdrawing waste gases of a marine engine, comprising a waste gas channel (1) which extends from the marine engine to an board outlet (4), and a water trap (11) which has a collecting tank (3) which is arranged below an outlet connection (7) formed in the waste gas channel (1). The invention is characterised in that a slanting guide vane (6) is arranged inside the waste gas channel (1) on the side of the outlet connection (7) which faces the marine engine.
