Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2015145278A1] The invention relates to a cooking appliance, in particular an induction hob device, having at least one inductor (10a, 11a; 10b, 11b), at least one inverter (12a; 12b), which is provided to provide a high-frequency heating current (I) for the at least one inductor (10a, 11a; 10b, 11b), at least one switch (14a, 16a; 14b, 16b), which is provided to interrupt and/or produce at least one line path (18a; 18b) between the at least one inverter (12a; 12b) and the at least one inductor (10a, 11a; 10b, 11b), and a control unit (20a; 20b), which is provided to deactivate the at least one inverter (12a; 12b) during at least one first time interval (22a; 22b) and to cause the at least one switch (14a, 16a; 14b, 16b) to switch, wherein the switching begins and ends within at least one second time interval (24a; 24b) which, in a normal operating state, is arranged within the at least one first time interval (22a; 22b) and which, in a faulty operating state, has at least one time (T) which lies outside the at least one first time interval (22a; 22b). In order to increase operational reliability, the control unit (20a; 20b) according to the invention is provided to match the at least one first time interval (22a; 22b) and the at least one second time interval (24a; 24b) dynamically to each other.
