Abstract (en)

[origin: EP3124650A1] In a surface treatment method for stainless steel, a stainless-steel surface fine-structure forming method for forming a fine irregular structure (roughened surface) having a high surface area is provided. A stainless-steel surface treatment method according to the present invention is for forming the fine structure on the surface of stainless steel. The method includes: a first step of performing grain refining treatment for refining crystal grains in the surface of stainless steel; and a second step performed, after the first step, for roughening etching the surface of stainless steel with an etching solution.
