[origin: WO2015149901A1] The invention relates to a component (10) , particularly a structural component for a motor vehicle, comprising a main part (12) made from a hot-formable steel and provided with a coating (14) in at least one sub-region, said coating having a first layer (16) comprising aluminium-silicon, and at least one second layer (18), said first layer (16) being arranged between the main part (12) and the second layer (18), and said second layer (18) being formed from zinc-cobalt or zinc-manganese or from manganese. The invention also relates to a method for producing a component (10), particularly a structural component for a motor vehicle.
