[origin: WO2015150658A1] The invention relates mainly to an exhaust hanger (1) of a motor vehicle, comprising a body (2) made of a resilient material intended for engaging with an arm emerging from an exhaust line, and a base (4) provided with at least one opening (11) suitable for allowing the passage of a means for attaching said exhaust hanger (1) to an element located under a motor vehicle floor, characterised in that said base (4) also comprises indexing means (14) for indexing said exhaust hanger (1) relative to a mechanical mounting plate (15) by engagement between at least two indexing studs (17) and two corresponding pilot holes (16).
