Die Erfindung betrifft eine Strömungsmaschine, insbesondere Dampfturbine (2) mit einem Überlasteinströmbereich (17), der für das Einströmen von Überlastdampf ausgebildet ist, wobei dieser Überlastdampf am Auftreffen auf die Rotoroberfläche (23) durch eine spezielle Gestaltung der Deckbänder (37) gehindert wird.
