[origin: US2015293766A1] A processor includes a plurality of processing units prepared for processing an instruction to be implemented at a plurality of stages and corresponding to the respective stages, and controller controls the plurality of processing units such that a processing unit for a preceding stage consecutively performs processing of a plurality of instructions, and then a processing unit for a subsequent stage consecutively performs processing of the plurality of instructions for which processing by the processing unit for the preceding stage has ended.
