Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2015158673A1] The invention relates to a waste bin (1) with an injection molded plastic body (2) comprising lateral walls (3, 4, 5, 6) and a base (8) that are arranged relative to one another so as to together delimit a cavity (15) with an opening (17) opposite the base (8). Each two mutually facing lateral walls (3, 4, 5, 6) transition into each other in an integral manner in a common corner region (11, 12, 13, 14), and a pour edge (21) which runs around the opening (17) and comprises a collar part (23) that protrudes radially outwards from the lateral walls (3, 4, 5, 6) is arranged on an upper face (16) of the waste bin (1). The collar part (23) is additionally supported on the lateral walls (3, 4, 5, 6) by means of rib elements (28, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59) distributed along the pour edge (21), and the injection molded plastic body (2) is partially reinforced with at least one flat material reinforcement (35) such that the wall thicknesses of the waste bin (1) are reduced as a whole while maintaining the same capacity.
