[origin: WO2015158994A1] The fuel injection pump, notably a high-pressure fuel injection pump for an internal combustion engine, notably a motor vehicle internal combustion engine, comprises on the one hand, a plunger including a plunger body (10) and a roller (11) mounted to rotate on the plunger body (10) and able to collaborate with a cam secured to a rotary shaft of the engine so as to bring about a translational movement of the plunger, and on the other hand a guide housing (13) guiding the plunger body (10) during the translational movement of the plunger intended to be imparted by the cam. The pump comprises a component (15) for supplying the inside of the guide housing (13) with lubricant. The component (15) is able to collaborate with the plunger body in order to remove the degree of freedom of the plunger to rotate about the axis of translation (X) along which the translational movement of the plunger is effected.
