Die Erfindung betrifft eine Spinnmaschine (1), insbesondere Ringspinnmaschine, mit einer Vielzahl nebeneinander angeordneter Streckwerke (2) zur Verstreckung eines Faserbandes. Erfindungsgemäß weist der Eingangswalzenstrang (7, 7') zwischen einer ersten und zweiten Antriebsstelle (41, 42) eine durchgehende Welle (22, 22') auf und der Mittelwalzenstrang (8, 8') weist zwischen der ersten und zweiten Antriebsstelle (41, 42) mindestens drei geteilte Wellenabschnitte (23, 23', 24, 24', 25, 25') auf, wobei ein Wellenabschnitt (24, 24'), der nicht mit der ersten und zweiten Antriebsstelle (41, 42) verbunden ist, mit einer weiteren Antriebsstelle (43) verbunden ist.
