Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2015162363A1] The present invention relates to a method for installation and implementation of a rigid tube (10), referred to as the main tube, in which the following steps are performed; a) one end of said main tube is lowered from a ship or floating support (13) on the surface (14) to below sea level (14) to be connected there to a submerged submarine device (16), preferably on the seabed (17), and b) the main tube is then maintained submerged for a given period of time, characterised in that said main tube is passed (10) into a cylindrical opening (4) with circular cross-section of a stress limiting device, said opening comprising an internal slippery coating (3) rigidly attached to a rigid support structure (9) of said ship or floating support, the service tube thus being able to slide in contact against said slippery coating during steps a) and b).
