[origin: WO2015161334A1] A support (1) for the arm of a shooter consists of an elongated body (10) having a first support surface (6) for a shoulder region, and a handle (15) for a hand at the front end (7). The handle (15) forms a second support surface (17, 18) open to the front, for absorbing the recoil when shooting. The handle (15) has a recess (16) open to the front, into which fits the contour of the rear part of the grip (5) of a portable firearm (2). The hand grasps both the handle (15) and the grip (5) of the portable firearm (2) at the same time. The support (1) can contain a wide variety of spray-coated metal parts, such as a metal pin (20) or knife blade (21).
