[origin: WO2015166169A1] The invention relates to a method for manufacturing flat glass including the following consecutive steps: (a) applying a layer of a glass frit to a glass fabric, the glass of the frit and of the fabric having essentially the same composition; (b) heating the glass fibre so as to bring the layer of glass frit to a temperature T > TL - 20 °C, wherein TL is the Littleton temperature of the glass frit, during a time that is long enough for converting the layer of frit into a layer of enamel with the same composition as the glass fabric; and (c) cooling the glass fibre, impregnated with the enamel or supporting a layer of enamel, obtained in step (b), so as to obtain a sheet of glass. The invention also relates to a sheet of glass which can be obtained by said method.
