[origin: EP3138955A1] A roll finishing machine includes: a chest 101 having a concave curved surface; a chest roll 100 that rotates to convey a washed object 2 that has been loaded while pressing the washed object against the concave curved surface, and to discharge the washed object from an outlet end 101b of the concave curved surface; and a suction peeling device that peels the washed object 2 off the rotating roll, wherein the suction peeling device includes: a suction surface 110 having a plurality of openings 111; an exhaust unit that causes air to be sucked from the plurality of openings 111; and a ventilated delivery belt 106 that travels on the suction surface 110 and conveys the washed object 2 that has been peeled off; and the suction surface 110 has a vertical surface 110a which is a planar part facing to a roll surface of the chest roll 100 at a position in the vicinity of the outlet end 101b of the concave curved surface, the position being located in a direction of an extension of the concave curved surface from the outlet end 101b.
