[origin: US2017065060A1] An applicator (10) for a cosmetic product has a core (12) extending in a main longitudinal extension direction, which is referred to as the main direction (X). The core (12) has two twisted metal strands. The applicator (10) further has a plurality of fibres held on the core (12) by the twisted strands. The twisted strands form non-contiguous turns (14, 14′, 15) so as to accommodate the fibres, the number and/or the type of the fibres varying from one turn, which is referred to as the first turn (14, 14′), to the other, which is referred to as the second turn (15).

L'invention concerne un applicateur (10) pour produit cosmétique, comprenant une âme (12) s'étendant selon une direction d'extension longitudinale principale, dite direction principale (X), ladite âme (12) comprenant deux brins métalliques torsadés, ledit applicateur (10) comprenant en outre une pluralité de fibres retenues sur l'âme (12) par lesdits brins torsadés. Lesdits brins torsadés forment des spires (14, 14', 15) non jointives de manière à loger lesdites fibres, le nombre et/ou la nature des fibres variant d'une spire, dite première spire (14, 14'), à l'autre, dite seconde spire (15). L'invention concerne aussi un procédé d'obtention d'un applicateur (10) pour produit cosmétique. L'invention concerne encore un ensemble applicateur pour produit cosmétique.
