[origin: WO2015173017A1] The invention relates to a preheater plug of which the rear end (13) of the body (10) terminates in a bearing surface (131) into which the bore (11) opens. The central electrode (20) comprises a knurled portion (21) of which the external diameter (D1) is smaller than the diameter (D0) of the smooth portion of the central electrode (20). The seal (30) is formed from a sleeve (31) comprising a collar (32). The thickness (e) of the sleeve (31) is greater than the dimension of the gap (i) between the smooth surface of the central electrode (20) and the bore (11), the sleeve being inserted by force into the gap (i).The internal diameter (D4) of the sleeve (31) is larger than the external diameter (D1) of the knurled portion (21).
