[origin: WO2015187076A1] The present invention relates to a method for the adaptation of the driving of a vehicle on a roadway in association with taking a curve. The method comprises the steps: to determine continuously (S1) the current lateral acceleration of the vehicle; to compare (S2), based on a maximum permitted lateral acceleration of the vehicle that has been determined, the current lateral acceleration with the maximum permitted lateral acceleration; and, in the case in which the current lateral acceleration lies below the maximum permitted lateral acceleration, to apply (S3) an automatic limitation of the longitudinal acceleration of the vehicle and/or the speed of the vehicle, in order to avoid that the current lateral acceleration exceeds the maximum permitted lateral acceleration. The present invention relates also to a system for the adaptation of the driving of a vehicle on a roadway in association with taking a curve. The present invention relates also to a motor vehicle.
