[origin: WO2015177003A1] The invention relates to an axial piston machine (1), comprising a shaft (3), which is connected to a swashplate (4) in a rotationally fixed manner, comprising cylinders (5), which are arranged annularly around and coaxially to the shaft (3) and in which pistons (6) are arranged in a translationally movable manner, wherein each piston (6) is coupled to the swashplate (4) by means of a spherical bearing (7) and a sliding block (8), wherein an inlet opening (9) is associated with each cylinder (5), comprising a control disk (10) having an eccentrically arranged passage opening (11), which passes over each inlet opening (9) once during each rotation of the control disk (10) and, in the process, conducts working medium into the associated cylinder (5). It is essential to the invention that a cylinder sleeve (13), which has an end wall (14) and the inlet opening (9), is inserted in at least one cylinder (5).
