[origin: WO2015176989A1] The invention relates to an axial piston machine (1), - comprising cylinders (5) arranged circularly around and coaxial to a shaft (3), and in which cylinders pistons (6) are arranged to be translationally adjustable, - wherein an inlet opening (9) is assigned to each cylinder (5), - comprising a control disk (10) connected rotationally fixed to the shaft (3) and having an eccentrically-arranged through opening (11) which, during each rotation of the control disk (10), passes over each inlet opening (9) once and thereby supplies working medium into the associated cylinder (5). The invention is characterized in that the control disk (10) is mounted adjustably on the shaft (3) in such a way that, at a predefined pressure in the cylinder (5), the control disk lifts reversibly from the inlet opening (9) and by this means enables a build up of pressure in the cylinder (5).
