[origin: EP3147602A1] One aspect of the present disclosure relates to an analysis system for analyzing biological samples comprises a plurality of compartments (2a,2b,2c), a plurality of compartment cooling circuits (3a,3b,3c), each of the plurality of compartment cooling circuits being configured to cool at least one of the plurality of compartments, a main cooling circuit (1) separate from the one or more compartment cooling circuits, the main cooling circuit (1) including a refrigeration device (10-13) and a cold storage (4), the main cooling circuit being coupled to the cold storage and configured to cool the cold storage and the one or more compartment cooling circuits being coupled to the cold storage and being configured to transfer heat from the plurality of compartments into the cold storage to cool the plurality of compartments.
