[origin: GB2526655A] A mouth care device 1 comprises a unitary integrally moulded elongate shaft forming an elongate handle 2 having a proximal end 5, and a distal end 6 of circular cross-section. A head 3 comprising a body portion 8 encircling the distal end of the shaft 6, and flexible filaments (9, figure 2) of non-absorbent material and of uniform diameter extending transversely from said body portion 8 is formed as an integral one-piece moulding that is fused to the distal end 6 of the shaft. The rows of flexible filaments are distributed around the head 8, and each of the flexible filaments is of non-absorbent material and of uniform diameter, extending transversely relative to the body portion 8. The head may be of a frustoconical shape tapering inward to a flat disc shaped end 10.
