Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2015180804A1] Apparatus (100) comprising: - an active cooling system (200) and an active heating system (500) influencing the temperature of the fluid (F) of a fluid system (111), - a controller (300) for operating said cooling system (200) and heating system (500), and - at least one pad (400) being connectable to said fluid system (111) so that the fluid (F) can be caused to flow through said pad (400), wherein the controller (300) is implemented or programmed to execute a pre-defined modulation scheme, said modulation scheme comprising a cooling phase during which the cooling system (200) is operated in order to reduce the temperature of the fluid (F) and a heating phase during which the heating system (500) is operated in order to increase the temperature of the fluid (F), and wherein the controller (300) keeps the temperature range of the pad (400) between 5°C and 42°C and preferably between 8°C and 38°C.
