Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2015181599A1] The invention relates to a changing element (1) for a spinning machine (26). The changing element (1) comprises a guide portion (2) by means of which a roving (3) can be guided in the region of a surface of a reel (4) or a roving bobbin (5), and the changing element (1) comprises a support portion (6) via which the changing element can be connected to a support (7) of a spinning machine (26). According to the invention, the changing element (1) comprises at least one cavity (8) which is closed towards the outside and which is partly filled with a liquid (9). Heat occurring in the region of the guide portion (2) due to the friction between the guide portion (2) and the roving (3) guided by the guide portion (2) during the operation of the changing element (1) can be absorbed by the liquid (9). The invention further relates to a spinning machine (26) with a corresponding changing element (2).
