[origin: WO2015181019A1] The invention relates to a method and a device for melt-spinning and crimping multiple threads. The threads are spun in a parallel manner in a spinning device by means of multiple spinnerets and transported to a crimping device after being drawn off. The crimping device has multiple texturing nozzles in order to form a thread plug from each of the spun threads, said thread plugs then being positioned together on the circumference of a cooling drum in order to be unraveled into a respective crimped thread. In order to allow a reliable unraveling of the thread plugs with a plurality of wraps, the thread plugs on the circumference of the cooling drum are guided next to one another individually with a respective plurality of wraps. For this purpose, the texturing nozzles arranged upstream of the cooling drum are held adjacently at a crimping distance to one another.
