[origin: EP3151573A1] Disclosed is a display apparatus including: a display; a processor configured to process an image to be displayed on the display; a communicator configured to communicate with a server that provides content data; and a controller configured to control the processor and the communicator to display an input image provided for allowing a user to input an activation code, send the server the activation code input through the input image so that the display apparatus can be registered to the server, and receive and process the content data provided corresponding to the activation code from the server so that a content image can be displayed based on the content data.
