[origin: WO2015185711A1] The invention relates to an instrument (1; 1001) comprising a body (10; 1010) suitable for being gripped by a user, at least two modules (20; 1020), each module being separate from the one or more other modules, including an operative portion (200; 1200) and being movable relative to the body (10; 1010) and, for each module, a mechanism (30; 1030) for guiding the translation (T1, T2) and rotation (R1, R2) of the module along the body, the module being movable relative to the body, successively in translation parallel to a first axis (X1) and in rotation about a second axis (Y30) which is perpendicular to the first axis and which is rigidly connected to the body, between an inoperative configuration (C1) in which the operative portion of the module is housed inside the body and a use configuration (C2) in which the operative portion of the module projects from the body. The two modules or two of the modules are arranged on either side of a single arm (13; 1013A, 1013B) of the body, which extends along the first axis from a base (12; 1012) to an end (14; 1014) of the body, the respective operative portions of said two modules being housed inside the base in the inoperative configuration and extending according to the first axis beyond the end of the body in the use configuration.
