[origin: WO2015194977A1] Internal combustion engine using liquid fuel, used to power vehicles, generators, machinery and other devices which require being driven by an internal combustion engine. The combustion chamber (1) has a shape similar to a ring fragment and a transverse cross section similar to a rectangle, with arc edges, in which two pistons (2) are placed with an external outline identical to the transverse cross section of the combustion chamber (1), wherein each piston (2) is connected to the crank of the crankshaft (6) by the piston (2) pin (4) and connecting rod (5) located in the upper zone, wherein in its lower zone it has at least one guiding arm (7), placed on a connecting pin (8), the axis of which is placed within the plane passing at approximately half the piston's (2) height.
