Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2015193276A1] The invention relates to an ammunition feed with an ammunition drive (2) of a weapon system (21) which is driven by external means in particular. A movable feeder (9) is integrated in order to implement a double ammunition feed with only one ammunition drive (2). The feeder (9) has two belt conveyor stars (30, 31) and is moved to the right or to the left relative to the ammunition drive (2) via a toothing (9.1) into which a pinion (10.1) of a drive (10) engages. The feeder (9) has a rocker-type center (9.2) with two arms (9.2.1, 9.2.2) which engage into recesses (9.3.1, 9.4.1) of two pins (9.3, 9.4) that are likewise moved with the feeder. Upon moving, the two pins (9.3, 9.4) together with the feeder (9) are moved until each pin (9.3, 9.4) reaches the pin recess (24.2, 24.1) and are immersed into said recesses and lock the feeder (9). The conveyor star (30, 31) which is oriented in a manner corresponding to the ammunition drive (2) is connected to the ammunition drive (2) via a conveyor star coupling (32, 33) on the conveyor star side and via an ammunition drive coupling (26) on the ammunition drive side. A bevel gear drive (4) is installed into the powertrain in order to change the rotational direction for the respective conveyor belt star (30, 31).
