[origin: WO2015189144A1] The invention relates to a method for correcting measurement data and/or navigation data of a sensor base system, wherein the sensor base system and at least one further sensor system detect measurement data, wherein the measurement data describes navigation data directly and/or indirectly, wherein indirectly described navigation data is calculated on the basis of the measurement data and/or on the basis of known physical and/or mathematical relationships, wherein the navigation data comprises at least one speed, wherein fault values of the measurement data and/or of the navigation data of the sensor base system are determined by means of the measurement data and/or the navigation data of the at least one further sensor system, wherein the fault values are corrected by applying corrections, wherein the sensor base system detects in vehicle-fixed or in topocentric coordinates, wherein the at least one further sensor system also detects in vehicle-fixed or in topocentric coordinates and wherein the fault values of at least the speed are determined in vehicle-fixed coordinates. The invention additionally relates to a corresponding system and to a use for the system.
