[origin: WO2015193247A1] The invention relates to a mounting device for automatically mounting a contact part on a connector housing comprising a holder for the connector housing, a positioning device having a movable gripper for positioning the contact part and for introducing the contact part into a cavity of the connector housing, an image capturing apparatus for recording an image of the holder, and a control unit for determining a position of the cavity in the image and for determining a movement of the gripper necessary for introducing the contact part into the cavity. A marking carrier is attached to the holder for calibrating the mounting device. A plurality of marking points are placed on the marking carrier attached to the holder by means of a marking means gripped by the gripper. The positions of the marking points on the marking carrier are determined by means of the image capturing unit. The determined positions of the marking points are saved in a storage device.
