The transporting means and/or the deflection shaft (150) have a plurality of markings (111, 121) arranged at predetermined spacings, and at least one difference in distance or time difference between two markings (111, 121) is determined, the determined difference is compared with a setpoint, and, if a deviation that exceeds a threshold value is determined between the setpoint and the determined difference, the drive shaft (140) is stopped.
