[origin: EP1426539A2] The profiled closure bar (17), for the transit between a window or door frame (10) and the building wall (11), is colored to indicate its characteristics and ensure that the correct bar is selected for fitting according to the application. The bar has a foam strip (22), to lie against the frame, with the same color as the profile bar, or with an additional color. The colors indicate the temperature behavior, fire resistance, suitability for recycling, weather resistance, or diffusion resistance. The foam strip is held in place and shrouded by a profile lip or an elastic mass (25).

Profilanschlussleiste für einen Übergang von einem Bauteil (10) zu einer Gebäudewand (18), wobei die Profilanschlussleiste (17) ein Schaumband (22) als Zwischenlage in ihrer Einbaustellung an dem Bauteil (10) aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Schaumband (22) eine Farbkennzeichnung aufweist und durch die Farbe der Farbkennzeichnung zumindest eine Eigenschaft der Profilanschlussleiste (17) oder des Schaumbandes (22) gekennzeichnet ist, wobei das Schaumband (22) an der Profilanschlussleiste (17) in einem derartigen Bereich angeordnet ist, dass es in der Einbaustellung der Profilanschlussleiste (17) teilweise sichtbar bleibt oder seitlich abgedeckt ist.
