[origin: WO2016030281A1] The invention relates to a chassis for a rail vehicle, comprising a chassis frame (1), which has longitudinal chassis supports (2), and comprising a secondary suspension, the lower face of which is secured to the chassis frame (1) and the upper face of which can be attached to a car body shell of the rail vehicle. The secondary suspension is made of at least two hydro-pneumatic spring elements (7), each of which is arranged between a centrally arranged rotational point (6) of the chassis relative to the car body shell and a paired longitudinal chassis support (2) and which are arranged so as to realize a symmetrical suspension in the transverse direction of the chassis.
