[origin: WO2015193024A1] The invention relates to a high-pressure fuel pump (28) for a fuel system (10) for an internal combustion engine, comprising a pressure-limiting valve (42), which is arranged hydraulically between an outlet (36) and a region upstream of the outlet (36) in a housing (50) and which is open toward the upstream region. The pressure-limiting valve comprises a closing element (58), which a valve spring (60) loads in a closing direction, and a stop body (64), which limits the maximum opening travel of the closing element (58). According to the invention, the stop body (64) is axially supported on the housing (50) and is loaded against the housing (50) by the valve spring (60).
