[origin: WO2016046036A1] The invention relates to a radial compressor impeller (1) comprising a wheel disc (2), a cover disc (3) arranged at a distance from said wheel disc, and blades (4, 12, 15) arranged therebetween and connecting the wheel disc (2) and the cover disc (3). According to the invention, said blades have an end portion (10, 13, 16), which is arranged at a distance from the radial outer end of the wheel disc (2) and the cover disc (3) towards the inside and has a reduced thickness with respect to an adjoining section.
