[origin: WO2016001008A1] The invention relates to a seating device (40) comprising at least one seating element (10) and at least one leaning element (20) arranged at an angle to the seating element, wherein the leaning element (20) is detachably secured to the seating element (10) by means of at least one joining element (30). According to the invention, the seating element (10) comprises at least one recess provided for receiving a part of the joining element (30), wherein the recess has at least one region that extends, on the vertical plane, through at least one part of the seating element (10). The invention also relates to a joining element (30) comprising at least two arms arranged approximately at a right-angle to one another, wherein one of the arms is provided for being received in a region of the recess of the seating element (10), and for being received in the recess of the leaning element (20).
