[origin: WO2016000745A1] The invention relates to a dirt receptacle for a floor cleaning device, comprising a support part (22) which is secured or can be secured to the floor cleaning device (10), a holding part (26) which can be releasably connected to the support part, and a suction strip (28) which is held on the holding part. The support part (22) and the holding part (26) are locked together via a locking device (52) which assumes a locking position. The dirt receptacle (18) comprises an actuating element (112) which can be converted from a non-actuated position to an actuated position in order to convert the locking device (52) to an unlocked position in which the holding part (26) can be released from the support part (22). The aim of the invention is to provide such a dirt receptacle which can be handled in a simplified manner. This is achieved in that the dirt receptacle (18) comprises a handle (74) which is held or formed on the holding part (26) and/or the suction strip (28) and in that the actuating element (112) has a greater distance to the handle (74) in the non-actuated position than in the actuated position, in which the handle (74) can be gripped by an operator. The invention further relates to a floor cleaning device comprising a dirt receptacle (18).
