Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2015197211A1] The invention relates to vehicle tires comprising a tread which is separated into profile positives by ridges, such as circumferential ridges (3, 3'), diagonal ridges, and the like. At least one profile positive is equipped with ridges (4) which extend locally in the profile positive without opening into other ridges. The ridges (4) consist of two ridge portions (5, 6) which run in the shape of a V relative to each other and which together form an acute angle (a) of 20° to 35° and are arranged substantially in the tread transverse direction. One ridge portion (5) has an extension length (li) which is longer than that of the other ridge portion (6) by two to three and a half times, and the ridge portion (5) with the longer extension length (11) is provided with a bevel (11) running at an angle (y) of 25° to 50° relative to the radial direction at the transition region between the ridge portion flank (10) on the inside with respect to the V-shaped progression and the profile outer surface. The ridge base (7, 8) of each ridge portion (5, 6) continually widens towards the free end of each ridge portion (5, 6) and terminates at the outer surface of the tread.
