[origin: EP3162458A1] The present invention concerns an apparatus (1) for making mechanical pieces comprising: at least one first plunger (2) and one second plunger (3) both movable and opposed one to another; at least one die (4) interposed between the first plunger and the second plunger and intended to receive at least one semifinished product (A) to be formed; at least one guide (5) extended between the die towards the first plunger to feed the semifinished product into the die through the first plunger; at least one discharge channel (6) extended at the side of the die that is opposite to the guide in order to pick up at least one mechanical piece (B) formed and obtained from the semifinished product (A); and movement means (7; 8) to move the first plunger and the second plunger, wherein the first plunger and second plunger are movable between at least one first position, in which they are distal from the die, and a second position in which they are proximal to the die, in the second position at least the second plunger having a respective head portion (9) inside the die.
