Abstract (en)
A mooring system (10), a tethering system (12) and a method of deploying a mooring system is described. The tethering system (12) is operable to tether an array of modular gravity anchors (14) to a bed of a body of water (16). The tethering system comprises an elongate tether (18) locatable on, for example the seabed (16). A plurality of stop members (22) is distributed along the tether (18) and attachable to the tether (18). The gravity anchors (14) are connectable to each of the stop members (22). The mooring system (10) includes the tethering system (12) and a plurality of gravity anchors (14) attached thereto.
