Abstract (en)
There is described a receptacle handling apparatus (1, 1'') comprising a conveying carousel (3, 3'') and a plurality of handling units (4, 4'') configured to advance along a path (Q) defined by rotation of the conveying carousel (3, 3''). Each handling unit (4, 4") comprises one receptacle support pedestal (33) supporting, in use, one respective receptacle (2) and moveable in a vertical direction (V). The apparatus (1, 1'') further comprises elevation adjusting means (34, 34") configured to adjust the positions of said pedestals (33) along the vertical direction (V) for adapting to different receptacle formats. The elevation adjusting means (34, 34") comprise one height-adjusting bar (35, 35'') for each pedestal (33) and actuator means (36, 36') selectively activated to move each pedestal (33) along the vertical direction (V) via the respective height-adjusting bar (35, 35'').
