[origin: WO2016001741A1] The invention relates to an anode assembly (100) including an anode (3) and an anode holder (4) for producing aluminium, characterised in that the anode assembly (100) comprises an electrical connection element (1) for electrically connecting the anode holder (4) to the anode (3), and at least one thermally insulating element (6) arranged such as to reduce the heat transfer between the anode (3) and the anode holder (4) during the production of aluminium.
