[origin: WO2016005215A1] The invention relates to a plug adapter (20, 30) for an electrical device for plugging in electrical supply lines on the device, and to a system formed by a plug adapter and a device. With the device, device connection contacts (112) are positioned in a row next to one another, and are contacted by the supply line (2) via screwless clamping devices. The supply line can be released by actuating an unlocking device (114). The clamping devices are positioned at 90° to the conductor access direction and partially project out of the housing of the switching device. The plug adapter (20, 30) has an approximately prismatic structure made of insulating moulded material, and the plug adapter also has an upper side (21, 31) positioned parallel to the upper side of the device, an output side (23) facing the device, and an access side (22) facing away from the device. Parallel receiving channels (24) for respective supply line cores (6, 8) are provided between the output side (23) and the access side (22), said receiving channels (24) being positioned in a row next to one another, and corresponding to the device connection contacts (112) of the device. An actuating bracket (42) is arranged on the plug adapter (20, 30), which is associated with the unlocking device (114) on the device in the positioning of the plug connection between plug adapter and device.
