Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung (V), insbesondere eine Ölwanne, vorzugsweise für einen Motor und/oder eine Getriebeeinrichtung. Die Vorrichtung (V) umfasst ein Gehäuseelement (1) zur Bildung einer Seitenwandstruktur (1.1) und zur Aufnahme eines Betriebsmittels und einen durch Temperiermittel beaufschlagbaren, ein Wärmetauschelement (1.2) aufweisenden Wärmetauscher (2) zum Wärmeaustausch mit dem Betriebsmittel. Das Wärmetauschelement (1.2) bildet zumindest einen Durchflusskanal (B) zur Durchströmung mit dem Betriebsmittel und zumindest einem Durchflusskanal (T) zur Durchströmung mit dem Temperiermittel.
