Hair protection device for protecting a plurality of hair tips, such as a hair bundle or a hair braid, bundled by a bundling means, comprising a hollow shell comprising an internal space and an opening, said internal space communicating with the exterior of the shell through said opening, wherein said internal space comprises a retaining means presenting a contact surface, said contact surface being adapted to come in contact with the hair bundling means to hang said device on said hair bundling means while enclosing the hair tips within the shell.
