The cutting tools includes a band-shaped base body which has on one longitudinal side a working region with cutting teeth and on an other longitudinal side a supporting region with a supporting surface. The cutting teeth are formed with tips and include cutting sides emanating from the tips at an angle a to one another. In a longitudinal direction of the working region, the tips of adjacent cutting teeth have different distances to the supporting surface.
