Abstract (en)
The present disclosure describes a method and an apparatus implementing the method for estimating an operating state of a positive displacement compressor. The method comprises an identification phase and an estimation phase. The identification phase comprises performing a plurality of identification runs to pressurize the pressure system. For each identification run, a characteristics curve is determined. The estimation phase comprises determining the operating state of the compressor on the basis of the determined characteristics curves.
